Temp-tations Carving Set is 18/10 stainless steel, dishwasher safe and designed to last a lifetime. However, we recommend that you follow these steps to ensure the proper use and care of your set: Prior to using the set, we suggest you wash each piece with a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Whether washing by hand or by automatic dishwasher, we recommend using a mild detergent. Stainless steel resists stains, rust and corrosion better than most metals; however, it will react to extensive exposure to foods and liquids with high levels of chloride. Thus, we recommend that you do not leave this set soaking in water for a prolonged period of time.
